June 11, 2020 Subject:
One of the best academic books on early seventeenth century piracy
Senior's book, based on his Bristol PhD thesis, remains one of the best works on English piracy before the 'Golden Age' (1650-1730) of Captain Kidd, Woodes Rogers and Blackbeard. Piracy is a topic that attracts both students and the general public. So I was very pleased to get Clive Senior's permission to upload his book (long out-of-print) to archive.org.
